McMillan asked to leave - nothing to do with not being offered a contract - he simply wants to play rugby.

I think it's a mistake to let McMillan go; he is and out and out groundhog who wins a lot of ball on the ground. Towards the end of the season our backrow looked very unbalanced at times, with 2 number 8's (Wilson and Ferris) and and a 6 (Bestie). Time will tell on this on though.

Sometimes young lads posting on messageboards can make themselves seem older by well thought-out arguments, making decent points, etc.

Heard he wanted released but the Ulster Branch wouldn't release him from his contract.
