My sympathies are with folk who happen to be Ulster and Liverpool supporters tonight.

I'll take a guess at because about 2 billion people or more in the world enjoy it. Of course the reason could simply be because it gives you something to howl at the moon about.Russ wrote:

After the wheels came off Liverpool's bandwagon in London at the weekend, Merseyside police made a statement today to confirm that the wheelnuts had actually been stolen in Liverpool.

Re: Liverpool FC
Liverpool have just announced the discovery of a natural spring under the Anfield pitch.
They're bottling it.

Available for weddings May to August only
Re: Liverpool FC
Hi Mike- I guess it depends on the type of place you like. In the city centre you have The Still House on Thomas Street, pretty much right across the road from Supermacs on O'Connell St. Tis only a small place but it is usually a good place for watching a match. It also is a Liverpool pub or at least it used to be. I haven't been there for quite a while but I watched a Leeds game in there last year. I do remember being in there on the night of August 21st 1995 when Tony Yeboah scored that wonder goal against Liverpool. Fecking place was full of Liverpool supporters and I was the only Leeds supporter in the place. I even had my jersey on and got a great "kick" out of watching all the miserable heads looking at me after the goal went in.HwoodMike2umate wrote:Shan - any particular recommendations as to where to watch the footie this Sunday in Limerick. Looks like they have got plenty of barrels in anyway.
If you wanted a bigger place you could chance Smyths or even Fla's.

Re: Liverpool FC
Thanks Shan. May well give it a visit.
All it takes is Liverpool to win on Sunday and Man City to lose and we'll all be singing Fairy Cross the Mersey and the Liverpool version of Fields of Athenry bla bla bla.
Shame I've lost my Liverpool fleg
