Because 8 was once caught drink driving whilst instagramming behind the wheel of a car on the Ravenhill Road?rorybestsbigbaldnoggin wrote:Why is 6 afraid of 7?Russ wrote:No. We determined he doesnt do the turnover thingrorybestsbigbaldnoggin wrote:If he has a median of 6, and 6 in South Africa means 7, does this mean he is a groundhog?Deraless wrote:So he can play anywhere from 4 to 8 giving him a median of 6. Re: Arno Botha
I could see a "7 8 9" scenario, if Marcel was captaining from the openside and beagle was the starter

Correct.Dave wrote:He is starting as captain for the bulls at no. 8
This is a one off warm-up match against a Sharks selection before the Supersport / Vodacom Cup starts.
Most of the other names are academy or 2nd line players. Similar idea to B&I Cup and less important than both SR and CC.
He is a valuable (returning from injury) squad player for the Bulls Super Rugby team. The Bulls have a large loose forward cohort for Super Rugby but he will get SR game time with injuries and swaps during the season.

Some highlights might be on the African Supersport (Sponsors) channel online or youtube.
Re: Arno Botha
Arno isn't in the 23 for sunwolves match. Haven't heard if he's injured.

Re: Arno Botha
Update on the Bulls Facebook page yesterday said he was available. Have a look and make sure I'm right.
Re: Arno Botha
It's hard to decipher exactly what Marais said when asked about Arno at this weeks Bulls press call !!
Arnie has a low strike rate in Super Rugby - only scored once in 46 appearances (March 2013 against Auckland in a game which C Piutau touched down for the Blues).
Botha started 12 of the Bulls 15 Super games last year. He should be champing at the bit for action now.

Re: Arno Botha
Anyone care to take bets on a knee injury? Given our luck, Arno's knees must surely be odds on to implode either shortly before he arrives, or shortly after.
It seems the knees of any marquee player associated to UR, are in greater danger than those belonging to any drug dealing scrote, who crosses the UDA drugs Lords. That's Belfast UDA, not to be confused with the breakaway Carrickfergus UDA.

Might go some way to explain Rodney Ah Feck ... signing him was a punishment beating!
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"
Re: Arno Botha
Arno looked fresh and in good form during his short half time interview yesterday. Had a run out on Friday against a Falcons XV.

Head Shoulders, Knees and Toes, Knees and Toes, Knees and Toes...
It's our new song, as we're destined to worry about the lower limbs of every player in our smitten squad, from now, until the end of time.
Our Wind Section will have it ready to perform, around the time Marcel plays again.

Head, shoulders, knees and toes. Should call this the Ulster Backline Song. In other words Luke, Stu McC, Stu O and Trimbo.
