Quite a few measures to take Kofi, none at all urgent as there is no immediate danger:
1) In the words of Corporal Jones, "Don't panic", nothing to worry about,
where is the danger? All is well.
2) If one is a little claustrophobic swing you double barrelled shotgun out pointing rearwards & shoot that horse in the face, "collateral damage" I believe the term is. You may now brake and lose the horse in front & Fireman Sam who is a bloody maniac hung out there beside you.
3) Whilst maintaining all possible calmness, extract you mobile & dial 999, tell them their is a fire at Kofi's house & that you know of one idle barsteward driving an engine like a chube. Have them dispatched toute suite.
4) Thon horse in front is some size of a boy, plenty of meat on him if he's as wide as my car, now that you have lost the horse at the back & Fireman Sam, draw level with him & shoot him in the head, stop, phone Tesco's & do a deal for the road kill rights for burgers.
Now, where was that problem you were talking about, that in all honesty didn't seem much of a problem at any stage.
Of course as the Fire engine was probably travelling in the opposite direction, you could probably have avoided all this unpleasantness & not had to make a hoax call about Kofi's house being on fire.
As a final thought, was John McMurtry riding either horse?
