Anyone listen to Theresa's speech; just like Margaret's before she got stuck into everyone earning less than 30K/yr. Al inclusive, working for the working classes etc., and no doubt eaten up by all the lovely people. I see privatising the NHS is to be debated; what a surprise!

Has anyone heard any kind of a balanced assessment of whether Corbyn needs 51 backers or not?
So far it's been: Oh yes he does, oh no he doesn't....... ad nauseam.
It's clearly going to end up in court.
What happens when a statement is so ambiguous that no clear judgement can be reached? Does the court go back to find the intended purpose of the change of wording that has created the ambiguity and work from there?

Corbyn and the labour party are an absolute joke. Not sure Eagle is going to be effective either and if that is the alternative the concern is that people go "meh" and stick with Corbyn.

I have been convinced for some time that Eagle has been sent out as a stalking horse. If Corbyn can be kept off the ballot, you will see a few others throwing their hats in the ring.
If Corbyn gets on the ballot, he will win and Labour will either split or be electorally obliterated.
I expect the NEC to say tomorrow that he needs 51 nominations and for him to take legal action. UNITE have published legal advice that says he doesn't need any nominations. Nice one Len......
Interestingly the Telegraph have run with that UNITE story. They would love him to win again.

They'll first look for precedent. Corbyn made sure in his last coup the incumbent had to get 20%

Did anyone see the Angela Eagle perfume launch?
She asked for questions. There were none
She asked where the bbc and peston were
They left to cover Leadsom halfway through

I don't think Eagle will be leader of the Labour party. Not quite as confident about that as I was about Boris though.

The lunatic fringe of Corbynistas showing their teeth this morning.
They are showing that they are a "street fighting" protest movement rather than a parliamentary party.

A student with a pen is a rare thing indeed.
