Ulster A following the example of the senior team in turning down 3 points in the hope of getting 7 with Leinster ultimately punishing this.

Penalty Ulster in our 22 in front of the posts but Johnston kicks to touch.

(0-7, 35')

Great result! Very impressive from the Ulster lads, hadn't expected such result.

Murray Kinsella gives a good write up on the 42-
https://www.the42.ie/leinster-a-ulster- ... =shortlink

Seems the back row went very well, Moore at centre was good and Gilroy had a few nice touches. Would be good to know which bench subs came on. Apparently we where under pressure at scrum time - no change there then..

Great result but from the link doesn’t seem like we made any subs in the back row or scrum half. Moral boosting win but feel there needs to be a mix in blooding some of the younger players in these games - is there much benefit in letting Allison, Finlay or even young Doak sit on the bench in an A fixture for 80 minutes?

We had a rare win at the RDS, take the positives😂 Was more a squad game than a regular A game.

When you look at the Leinster team that is a really impressive result, great news!
