The “knock-try” I understand the logic of it -?

He knocked the ball forward and then played it backwards before it hit the ground ( the fact it was accidental and unintended doesn’t matter )

The first one cross kick typical welch opportunism .

The English huddle broke up — and the referee blow for play to commence — the welch played the whistle to disallow the try would have been equally unfair in the circumstances.

The ball could have over kicked or knocked on that it wasn’t but it could have

The better team won, no doubt. I know the maths don't give the full picture, but, even if the two dodgy tries are taken away, Wales still won.

Losing count of how many Welsh titles in the last 15 seasons. Must be 5 - 6?

You can't count to 6?

It's a competition not fit for purpose. Only six competitors. One team lose every game. 4 trophies on offer. Foreign players representing other nations.

Jokeshop.

Wales jammiest team in world Rugby.
Nope
Before he kicked cross field,
Biggar clearkyr asked the ref if he had told the English that time was back on . He said he had, and indeed he had done so, but they , thinking that they were in charge, chose to ignore him.
Lesson learnt!

Nope.
Biggar asked the ref if he could tell us when time is back on.
Shortly afterwards, he announced it was.
May was in position on the left wing.
Nobody was in position on the right.

Regarding the "knock-on", it's surprising how many players and so-called experts don't know the basic laws of the game. Must say, Liam did remarkably well a. to play on and more importantly b. to retain control of the ball.

Anyway, it's all swings and roundabouts, and the first one effectively cancels out Jonny May's illegal try against Italy.
