New series of Fargo on Channel 4 @ 10pm on Mondays. Last night was episode 2 folks so you'll have to catch up quick. I get in from my Monday night tennis @ CI about 10.30pm so just time for a quick shower and then slip into dressing gown, slippers on, pour a glass of red (or white) wine and its a great way to chill & finish off a hard days work and play. Last night I had white wine and apple tart to accompany the programme. Needless to say I watch it on Channel 4 +1.

Mike, when you say tennis, is it safe to assume you are watching ladies in short skirts rather than playing tennis? I assumed a set would finish you off, no, not in that way ya dirty sod. >EW

Unfortunately there are No ladies/girls in short skirts, in fact no ladies/girls at all, on cold autumn nights in the Bubble (play tennis 8.30pm to 10pm then a quick drink in the bar) but at least we have protection from the rain and wind. May though be a slim chance of some skirts still around when playing "club" tennis play this Saturday as a wee warm up to the Rugby World Cup final which I plan to watch in the Clubhouse.

Zoo

Don't. Don't even think about it. I though James Patterson might give us something interesting and the basic idea is sound in a nice science-fictiony sort of way, but it fails at every level.

Having said that, I'll be keeping a close eye on Sparky from now on.

The final magnificent contribution from Gerard Michael Anderson, "A City Dreaming". Hilarious, cynical, a wee touch of appropriate bitterness, the odd fiercesome expletive, moving at times and love of the subject.

I love it, I know Derry quite well but most of the clips are before even my time. At the start I wondered, is it really Gerry for the voice betrayed his illness, but as you get used to the change the usual tones and inflections are there.

Gerry is the only NI TV/ radio personality that I'd have loved to have a pint with...... I think.

I miss him and by Jaysus so does Sean Coyle who's as bad is thon dose from Strabane

Should I watch The Chicken People the night?

Is Rooster on it?
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Saw Matilda last night in the theatre. Whilst the music isn't the greatest the sheer spectacle is brilliant

Likewise. Currently going through Season 1 of Gotham, pretty good so far, things are starting to heat up. Cant wait for new GoT, Better Call Saul, House of Cards and Daredevil, all starting again around March/April time

Nothing to touch the big West End productions, the touring shows are no where near the same quality
