It's when you make the same point over and over again. We all know where you stand on NOC. I don't think he's great either, but don't see the need to trample the guys name in the dirt each time it is mentioned?Husky wrote:What's this forum for then, if we can't voice opinion?
Because I said it when he signed and then left it. Why would I want to go trampling over the name of an Ulster player?Husky wrote:I feel no guilt in what I've said, nor do I think it's particularly offensive. I actually said that with the right attitude, he could be DECENT.
Now why did you have to go trampling on the good name that is Humphreys, and insult Ian like that?
Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh. Now I get it. Let me issue a new statement then.Snipe Watson wrote:Because I said it when he signed and then left it. LI players.....I don't care about.
With Best an international guarantee, I think we need 4 senior hookers. We also need to plan for when Brady retires, which surely can't be too far away. Not ideal for Annett maybe, but if he's good enough he should still see gametime.Loki wrote:Herring seems like a very interesting capture though I'd be a little worried for Annett's future with his arrival. However, increased competition for places is always worth having and I think he could be very handy.
NOC...increased squad depth and I feel he will come back a better player. He's here now and he has my support, I hope to see him scoring some vital points in the season to come.
He also made it clear that most of what has been written in the press about IRFU quotas is very wide of the mark.Cap'n Grumpy wrote:SLogan stated at URSC meeting a couple of weeks ago that IRFU would NOT allow ANY of the provinces to bring in a non-Irish qualified 10. Definite no-no!ronk wrote:IRFU would allow a NIQ outhalf as Munster and Leinster don't have one. There's one more slot available still, so we could sign one if we really wanted one.
I was thinking the same as this Herring guy is in for a year to see how good he is and then I would assume if he can hack it at this level will get Bradys contract next year, if not then search out someone else.breakdown wrote:We had 4 hookers last year, same for this year, only thing is two are young guys, is it a surprise really we signed someone Herring and have Annett since we are seemingly planning for the future
