What was the Paddy Mac incident?
Re: Season Ticket Sales and future allocations
Take a look back through the injury update thread, I can't say but you will see what I did wrong, mention it again and I'm bannedRuss wrote:What was the Paddy Mac incident?

Think our first ST's may also have been purchased in 02-ish too.LastKnightoftheproms wrote:I'm trying to work it out. My eldest was born in '98 and my first ST was 2+1 and she was pre-school. Must have been '02-ish?Rooster wrote: They were certainly going in 2003/04 season
Fastest finger first puts you in charge of your destiny Rooster? Really? Seriously?
With Ticketmaster? Honestly!
Was def before we bought our house in 2004.

The first season tickets were for 1999-2000 season.LastKnightoftheproms wrote:I'm trying to work it out. My eldest was born in '98 and my first ST was 2+1 and she was pre-school. Must have been '02-ish?Rooster wrote: They were certainly going in 2003/04 season

I had a couple of 00/01 and it was tough, the "apocalypse" word brings it all back !LastKnightoftheproms wrote:Thanks Snipe.
The "apocalypse" year!!! I suspect ST sales '00/01 were "brisk"!
Mine must have been '01 or '02, '03 at the very latest.

It is those who have bought 50%+1th ticket that would be impacted by such a system.
Personally, I don't care, I'm egalitarian enough to take my chances in a draw.
First priority to Season Ticket holders that are also URSC members - that would push the supporters club membership up another wee bit

I'm not arguing -
I'm just explaining why I'm right

A lot of newbies here.
My first season ticket season was in the days pre the professional era.
It cost £5 then and entitled you to 1/2 interpros, Lancashire/Yorkshire, possibly a touring side and all the Cup Finals (including the Schools Cup.)
Sales of the tickets were not promoted and you had to almost twist the arm of the office staff to get one.
Excellent value indeed and some cash left to enjoy a beer in the bar below the grandstand.
It must be at least 30 years ago and renewed every year since..

Any idiot can face a crisis -it's day to day living that wears you out.
Re: Season Ticket Sales and future allocations
£5 sounds a bit steep! I think a yorks/lancs game was about 20p (although that would have been schoolboy). Maybe I'm remembering through rose tints. Summers were longer and drier then and you didn't have unblock your doors.widerball wrote:A lot of newbies here.

Re: Season Ticket Sales and future allocations
Any idea of numbers heading back to Grandstand and how Ulster will keep everyone happy?!
Re: Season Ticket Sales and future allocations
INstructions Memorial stands may be booked 9am this morning. Result no reaction on screen or by phone .Is there a worse ticket selling organisation than Ulster Branch?
They make Ryanair seem benevolent :

Not making much sense there KH! Take a deep breath and count to 10; then explain your problem.keirhardy wrote:INstructions Memorial stands may be booked 9am this morning. Result no reaction on screen or by phone .Is there a worse ticket selling organisation than Ulster Branch?
