It is somewhat gratifying that Ulster are relatively tat free. I'm prepared to make an exception on cultural grounds for the occassional polynesian import but that's about it.

That sounds a tad bakebookie for my liking. The "Ulster till I die" schtick is best left to them, the "real fans", the "true fans", the sort of chube the discerning fan abhors. I think of them as wendyballists who have stumbled on the "wrong" game. This place is better suited to the curmudgeonly tendency of whose number I am delighted to be amongst.
