Looking at the teams I would only take two of their starting XV over ours, on paper we should win this, however as the old adage is often stated, games aren't won on paper*.

Away from home I’m not so sure.

Hmm I’m not overly confident either. We have a history of struggling when we lose two or three top players, however that seems to have improved lately.

As always they will try and beat us up so it will be another test of our resilience when under pressure physically. We held our own at the rds and it will be nice to show the soft underbelly is gone once and for all. If our set piece holds up we should be in with a shout. Hoping big Ben has a stormer, just needs to back himself as he is a big unit.

I'm maybe a little skewed from the two victories I've experienced out of my last three most recent visits to Thomond. That glorious Heineken QF, followed by a Sugar McKinney master class a couple of seasons thereafter. My last visit not so pleasant, that resounding 64-7 thumping.

I don't feel I'm being unpleasant only offering two swaps, one would be an Ulsterman swapping sides in any case

I don't rate their front row come scrum time, having said that without Moore at tighthead I'm always nervous about our set piece.

We’ve only got a one point start on the handicap.

Unavailable for selection

Brad Roberts, Tom Stewart, Marty Moore, Iain Henderson, Cormac Izuchukwu, Jordi Murphy, Matty Rea, Ian Madigan, Stewart Moore, Stuart McCloskey, Luke Marshall, Robert Baloucoune, Jacob Stockdale, Will Addison.
Interesting that Reidy is neither in the match day squad nor unavailable. Gone already? Hope not.
EOS also not involved, out of favour also?
Ulster keeping their options open on whether to play Jack or EOS.

Name one, play the other. Sure no one can tell the difference ...

Or so Beeb would have you believe.

Mike Adamson is such an inept w@nker. Misses a clear neck roll on Timoney right in front of him then declares a deliberate knock on against Coombes but pussies out of a yellow card.

Bugger.

Went for Rob to score at any time, not the first try!
