Should we take the kids/our summer signings to SA and target Glasgow and Cardiff?
This is the way I think, give them the 5 points and go out with the mindset of picking up a try bonus point. It's just not the match itself it's the travel and what it takes out of the touring party. The Sharks fixture is jambed between Glasgow and Cardiff, I would target those two games.

3 Ulster Pld 12 Pts 43
Glasgow (A) 1pt
Sharks (A) 0pt
Cardiff (A) 4pt
Bulls (H) 4pt
Dragons (H) 5pt
Edinburgh (H) 4pt

I think we will get to 61 pts, if we get to that then Sharks currently on 33pts need 6 wins 24 pts plus 5 bonus pts (33 + 24 + 5 = 62pts) to go above us.

Focus on getting 5 pts out of Glasgow and Cardiff games. Screw the Sharks game. 5 points from our next 3 fixtures is a return that sets us up for winning our last 3 at home.

Also if we get to 61pts Glasgow would have to win 5 from 6 to go above us. Don't see them winning away to Lions on the Highveld, or Munster away.

Target is for us to get to 61pts and take our chances Stormers only win 3 remaining games. Need Sharks to beat Stormers today.

Sharks 7-24 Stormers HT, probably need to win in Durban to get top 2.

No Kitshoff for Stormers, seems the internationals are having a break etc.

Stormers have plenty of difficult games remaining

I think Ulster have a cracking chance of a victory in SA, as I say they will be missing all their springbok players.

Stormers have Munster, Benetton and Sharks at home and trips to Bulls and Leinster.

Three of the SA Autumn squad, albeit fringe players, are in the 23 for the Stormers.

It’ll be just our luck if Rassie decides his lads need a bit of game time when we ride into town!

The SA Internationals have been stood down since the 21st jan. The sharks will be fully loaded again by the 25th Feb. I say send the kids and target the Glasgow and Cardiff games. Wondering how soon ulster have to 'book' the names on the plane seats? We'd be leaving soon after the Glasgow game but would be good to be able to decide who goes depending on the outcome.

Why? Can these ulster players not play 3 games in 6 or 7 weeks?

3 games in 3 weeks, as you know.

It’s the travel and lack of prep time as much as the rugby. Ask the Stormers.
