Re: Schools Cup 2016
Enthralling game between two well matched teams, most of the players will return again next season, which should make for good viewing.
The ballymena hooker was very good constantly carrying and accurate in the line out, however the 7 was woeful, butchered at least 3 overlaps and couldn't hold the ball.

Was anyone at the match?
I heard there was a few Ireland u18 candidates on show? Any notable performances?

Its a school boy you are referring to - not a professional player. May be OK to slate a professional on a forum like this but not an individual amateur who is just representing his school - bound to be full of nerves and probably more than gutted with the result without someone slating his individual performance ! It was a much closer match than the scoreline reflects. Tough luck BA and heads up boys ..... Best of luck to RBAIBlow in wrote:Enthralling game between two well matched teams, most of the players will return again next season, which should make for good viewing.

Sadly this thread and Ulster Schools Rugby is over run by the disgraceful bullies of Belfast

Hardly slating and professional or ameteur pff, I beleive the player in question captained Ulster schools last year, and is a member of the Ireland u19 setup,so not just any joe bloggs.

Some highlights on Newsline there, the Campbell 8 looks a real unit with a good bit of pace as well.

You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

The easier option for the try was a simple pass to the men on the outsidetherealspratt wrote:Some highlights on Newsline there, the Campbell 8 looks a real unit with a good bit of pace as well.
PBG is the fulcrum of this team and a real box of tricks. He's outworked a lot of heavier No.8's this year with a quick brain, explosive power and magic feet.
