Which would seem strange because instead of clearing from a controlled kick at 22m, they are almost certainly clearing from a hurried kick in-goal, a 25m disadvantage at least.
I agree but I'm yet to see an example of a knock on in play being dotted down in goal being given as a 22

What the actual feck was that. Is it really beyond people's wits to teach a kick chase not to leave a big gap for their winger to set off into?
