I back Dave to pull something out of the hat here, surely he can do better than NOC and Nick Williams. Surely.

Williams would be an absolute joke of a signing - Munster reject, couldn't even make the Aironi team for most of this year, and running completely and utterly contrary to Ulster's supposed mantra that NIQs should be first-rate players, better than those who they are replacing.

He's a wee bit short to be an international 4/5 but is a third line out jumper and has fast twitch muscles for a 6. Well, he is described as 6'6" which is the same height as POC, DOC, taller than Tuohy, Stevenson, MOD, Barker and 1" shorter than Muller.

From what I can see Henderson has the height and physicality to play 2nd row and the pace and mobility to play back row. He's extremely young and wet behind the ears in pro rugby terms so no need to pigeon hole him into one position. Looks like he may have a job to do in back row for us next season.
