The only thing is, they have left the UAFC faithful in a state of flux and confusion ... Having set the bar as low as one could humanly consider possible for a Dave ... (and by heck we managed to locate and promote some Daves here) ... they have left us with nowhere to go when trying to pigeonhole "The Hond".

Which would mean we're likely to end up with a 10 who is signed mainly because his granny was Irish. The fact that he might be a useless tosser is neither here nor there. For feck's sake, let's stick with what we got and build for the future.

So we'll sign some 'never has been, never will be' with an Irish granny to block our talent instead of a current Springbok international who might, just might, mentor our up and coming players.

That is what I always held onto 9, then he went to France, played less than 10 games and has been a collector of paycheques since.... and as befitting all Daves, a physical wreck ................... who can still heft shyte around a farm.
