Razor Ruddock seems to make his living by appearing in the nip these days. Was forever on "A league of their own" and invariably ended in the raw.

Hans Kung, probably the greatest Roman Catholic theologian of the twentieth century, died this week. I doubt that he imagined that his death would be noted in an Ulster Rugby forum but, if we note the passing of great figures, in his field, he was up there with the best of them.

He is survived by no wife, no children, and one asteroid.

One school of thought was that the pope wasn't a fan, in which case he couldn't have been up to much.

Another school of thought was that the pope did rate him, but he could be wrong about that

If Benedict XVI has disagreed with anything Francis I at any stage in the last 7-8 years, does that mean Hans Kung was right and either or both Popes were wrong?

Double barrelled proof there then apparently . . . but I might be wrong. I'm not infallible.

and yes, i know that "Papal infallibility" refers only to matters of doctrine, not less mundane things that any two people may disagree over.

Given a high enough pressure air-line and the right
shaped nozzle, I'd say you are.

Philip of Greece and Denmark.

I reckon he'd have been a bit of crack on a weekend away.

I believe it was when he was a cadet at Dartmouth and Princess Elizabeth visited with her parents. She was 13.

Rapper DMX. I'm sometimes over-suspicious, but did anyone ever see him and Prince Philip together, in the same room?

Kung denied papal infallibility ant that got him 'silenced' for his pains by having his teaching recognition removed.. Everybody knows he was right about that. He and Benedict were mates in their early days but went in opposite directions.

I've sometimes thought that Philip was the Buckingham Palace equivalent of an alickadoo.
