I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
Re: Dan McFarland
Sending up Simon Easterby to you for the first half of the season is decent of the Union.
Please show some appreciation.

Re: Dan McFarland
Will be interesting to see how Easterby and Peel get on together for the next six months. They obviously played together at LLanelli for years, so you'd imagine they get on fairly well. Peel always struck me as an intelligent player and I've some hope that he'll have the makings of a decent coach if he's given some time in a stable set up.
Easterby was doing a fairly decent job as head coach of the Scarlets before he got his gig with Ireland and I don't think we could hope for much better as an interim. Much as the union gets some derision, I'm not sure what more they could have done here (apart from not leaking the McFarland news before the SRU had been told ).

Nothing wrong with Easterby as a coach, but his heart won't be in it he'll just be filling in a role for a few weeks. As soon as September is done he'll be back in camp Joe til December, then Dan comes in Jan so will he bother coming back? Realistically we have the Easterbunny for pre season and a week or two after.

Re: Dan McFarland
It's obviously still a far from ideal situation, bit taken it as a given i think getting Easterby is as good as could have been hoped for. It obviously will only be for a few months before and after the AIs, but i don't doubt we'll have his full commitment while he was in. I'd hope there'll be a good bit of rqpport between him and Peel and i doubt be's going to be dialling in coaching players he'll have to deal with in the Ireland camp after this is done.

Is McFarland worth waiting for? I'm tired of this bullshit, wouldn't happen at Leinster or Munster. FIRFU

Have we not learnt our lesson from the last time a coach was so amazeballs that he was worth torpedoing a season for? FIRFU

Re: Dan McFarland
If the SRU are playing hardball we should just tell McFarland, sorry mate, this ain't going to work. Leave him contracted to the SRU with all the rest of the forwards coaches they've been hoovering up. We actually have no self respect, sloppy seconds.
