I am.
Mary comes from up here and knows the score. Obviously she cannot become involved, but our society is still being destroyed by flag waving, anthem singing, slogan shouting gulpins. All this does is open doors for ejits like Willie McCrea telling people to support Scotland....gives me the right hump

Good idea Michael but I think we have a problem convincing the cheerleaders to perform in the freezing November weather. Then again we could provide them with proper winter clothing.

Of course the anthem should be dropped. The team combines 2 juricdictions. Either play both anthems or none. furthermorem I think the return to landsdown would be a decent time to change the current protocols.

They should encourage him to sing to Mary as she's pottering about on the field before the games.Might be a good way of getting her to feck off out of it.Mind you Martin Johnson's little stunt didn't deter her so she appears to be quite resilient.

Simple solution, IRFU flag with the 4 provincial crests and Ireland's Call (or a more mutually acceptable replacement).

You should be ashamed of yourself, absolutely no place in this debate for simple common sense or "mutually acceptable" solutions! Pull yourself together man, (or woman) >TM. "Mutually acceptable????", this is norn iron ffs!

Pick an entrenched non-negotiable viewpoint, repeat it endlessly without any sort of compromise irrespective of facts, & you will fit in much better on this thread

When the anthems come on I turn over or turn the sound down. Doesn't matter whether its football or rugby or formula one. The politicisation of sport is :puker: inducing.

I suggest replacing the anthems with pole dancers.

Is that not the protocol for internationals at Ravenhill at the moment, or are you talking about all home internationals combat?

That's the solution folks - Polish Cheerleaders doing lap dancing on the back of a small lorry in the middle of the pitch. Why has no-one thought of it b4?
