Just watched the highlights on Sky Sports a minute ago and it's obvious. Hartley is looking at Barnes and abuses him. If he is not banned for it then there have to be questions raised because it is definitely aimed at Barnes.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Interesting one.

Option 1. Hartley can challenge the decision. If he does the RFU will surely back Barnes and Hartley's only real hope is that Barnes is prepared to admit that he might have been mistaken.
Option 2. He can plead guilty and rely on his previous record to mitigate the punishment :lol:

What a complete Warren Gatland.

If Hartley now doesnt go will Best replace him is the question.
I hope it was the case that it was a split decision between the two rather than Gatland not fancying Best at all like he did with Robshaw.
I would not be shocked to see Ken Owens, Ross Ford or Strauss replace Hartley with that in mind.
I am delighted that this has happened as it demonstrates all the reasons why no one wanted to see Hartley on the plane in the first place.

Hartley given an 11 week ban, hopefully rory will get his rightfull spot but I have my doubts, Gatlands motto anyonebutbest

Justice. However, I still can't trust Gatland & Rowntree to pick Best. They may go with Rees.
