Gubbed by Wales 19-12, scrum anihilated.

Scrum bizarre, stuffed all night & eventually a prop carded with 15 to go. On come the two replacement props and they comfortably scrummage the Welsh, winning their first scrum with a winger at blindside then winning a penalty in the next, 10 minutes elapse and to my astonishment the carded prop comes back on :duh: Couldn't make that sort of incompetence up.

The same incompetent put a flanker in the second row, scrum goes backards.................... who'd have guessed.

No possession to work with.

Dreadful stuff Baggy. Even outside of the scrum Ireland rarely offered anything in attack.

They played like they couldn't catch a cold and were totally outmuscled. Some nice offloading and continuity by the Welsh

I believe 2 minutes before the 80, though of course that means about 5 minutes. The 2 minutes says more about the incompetent running the team.

Basically the welsh had a better front five who denied Ireland any ball . The Irish half backs were unable to communicate and were poor until the scrum half was subbed . Basically a bad night in the office .
