If by some chance we do beat Glasgow at the week end, Ulster will be unable to field a side the following week due to all the citings that Toonie will demand....ABG

Axel..... 30 October 1973 - 16 October 2016

Or alternatively, we could report absolutely everything we see untoward to the citing commissioner, and publish these. Eg Diack's neck-drive tackle.
You sure that was not reported >EW
it was reported and the Scottish citing commissioner Paul Minto said nothing in it move along, UR not at all happy and have taken it further...
There is a darn site more in it than the one he did cite, providing the incident we think is correct.

There's nothing in the broadcast camera angle, so I presume he's based it on a tighter shot.

He's not banned yet .... it's just beyond abomination if that's what the citing is for.
That is a real joke citing just to disrupt training, I see no other reason for it

If that's citable then so to is the boot Humphries took to the head for his concussion.

They are taking refereeing seriously down south(don't mean Mexico)
Australian referee Rohan Hoffmann and New Zealand television match official Vinny Munro have been singled out for their poor officiating in round 14 of the Super Rugby over the weekend in SANZAR's weekly review into performances.

A SANZAR statement released late on Monday afternoon on match official appointments for round 15 did not name and shame the pair but Fairfax Media understands that Hoffmann and Munro were at the centre of the governing body's ire.

In Hoffmann's refereeing of the Waratahs-Sharks game at Allianz Stadium on Saturday that the Sharks lost 33-18, his calls against the visitors arguably eliminated their hopes of winning the game.

Hoffmann will be one of two assistant referees with Graham Cooper in Saturday's Force-Highlanders clash in Perth that Andrew Lees will referee.

Munro, who was the TMO in Saturday's Hurricanes-Chiefs game at Westpac Stadium in Wellington that was won by the home side 22-18, has not been appointed any game this round in any capacity.

After the game refereed by Glen Jackson, Munro came under fire for his knock-on ruling in the 78th minute that denied the Chiefs a potential match-winning try.

"While we acknowledge that the match officials cannot get it right all of the time, there are some basic standards that have simply not been upheld over this past weekend, resulting in some disappointing decisions and selection consequences," said SANZAR game manager Lyndon Bray in the statement.

"A thorough and robust system is in place whereby the development and performance of each match official is reviewed by SANZAR and its member unions on a daily basis and like any athlete participating in elite competition, our referees are accountable to performance levels for the competition.

"Appointments are made weekly based on performance reviews from the previous round but also includes an evaluation of the current form of each official over the term of the competition.

"We have completed our reviews from the weekend and have followed strong internal processes as we prepare our team to reach their physical, mental and technical peaks as we head into the critical last four rounds of the regular season and Super Rugby finals series.

"Public confidence in match officials is essential to the ongoing success of our product and we will continue striving to enhance the quality and accountability of refereeing across all SANZAR competitions."

Meanwhile, Australian TMO George Ayoub who officiated under Hoffmann in the Waratahs-Sharks game, has also missed out on a match appointment this weekend.

Ayoub ruled against a try by the Sharks' S'bura Sithole, and for a questionable try by Wararatahs winger Taqele Naiyaravoro which with Bernard Foley's conversion put NSW 20-11 up with 25 minutes to go.

Known our luck he probably will get banned.
