It won’t be easy to beat an Edinburgh side (on their artificial pitch) that recently put eight tries on Connacht but it’s obviously well within our capabilities.

Interestingly, win or lose, they’ll still be thinking that they’re going to have to beat Glasgow to qualify for the Champions Cup anyway.

It's that time of the season to bring out all your favourite clichés. I'll start: every game is a cup final now.

We’ll take one game at a time.
We’ve trained really well all week.
Etc. etc. 🙄

Real test of the players mentality now. While we hope for different, last weeks result against munster was always a likely possibility given the blow suffered the week before. If we fail to show up tonight it really points to something rotten in the mental preparation of the team. Whitehouse could blow us off the pitch as well given the full house, so we need paint the right pictures for him (required end of season cliche).

We don’t want to be winning at half time.

Seems to be taking a long time to learn those learnings.

Ulster have started badly. With the way things are being refereed at the minute, Timoney is quite lucky only to have been given a yellow card.

Kudos to their six their for butchering a stone wall try. Clean line break, had unmarked men in support on both sides and ran straight into the contact.

Edinburgh should be 14-0 up and Ulster should have a red card instead of yellow.
If Ulster don’t get a grip of themselves very quickly, their luck will run out and they’ll be in the end of a hoking. Pathetic so far.
