I just love the barbed way you word questions Cockers.

Only a fool would start naming names with assurance or apportioning definitive blame without sufficient evidence and I don't have sufficient evidence as I'm not privy to the inner workings of the coaching team.
I do however know what I see with my own two eyes and that leads me to feel that the coaching collective has failed to deliver. Doak and Clarke have been there the longest and so the spotlight should shine most brightly on their contributions. From my point of view, I have seen little evidence to indicate that either of them are up to the job. Barakat has only been here a 3/4 of a season. This does not give him a bye-ball when it comes to scrutiny, but he cannot be blamed in any way for the horrible brand of rugby we played last season. Kiss is only through the door in coaching terms and has had no time to put his stamp on the system he inherited. We have seen the beginnings of an improvement in tactics under Kiss with an abandonment of hoofball. However the counterbalance to that has been the slightly strange selections we have seen.
We will have to see what Kiss and Barakat can deliver next season and who if anyone is shown the door this summer.
Hope this helps. :thumleft:

A fair summary. Bakarat is there because Kiss needs someone he trusts and knows, without baggage and previous at UR imo. Whether he's good enough, time will tell. I do reckon Kiss has the makings of a good coach, and should be given time, but we'll see the whites of his eyes this summer, and if he has the ballix to make the required wholesale changes to his background team. No-one here is denying that something stinks big time at UR, it's just where the turd is actually buried and who dealt it...

sniupe.. all I asked was whether you classed the whole coaching set up as sub standard? wasn't specifically looking any names.
