The A team has always included a few of the senior players who haven't been getting regular starts recently - either because they are coming back from injury or because their form has slipped. I don't think you can count the inclusion of Gilroy and Cave as loading the team. It would be different if there were five or more regular first teamers involved.

Or like the last time we were in the QFs, loaded our side and lost to Munster's U19s at Ravenhill.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

When the firsts have a game, you can argue that some 'balancing' has been done between the two teams. Is that loading? Should Gilroy, Cave have been playing for the firsts that weekend? Arguably no. So that's what the As are for.

What we did a few years back was 'give first team regulars game-time when there was no firsts fixture'. Munster may wish to do the same this season.

I could tell an interesting story about that. >EW It centres around players coming back from Ireland camp & indispensable players because the forwards can't carry a fu@king message............. but probably best not.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

You think Jackson would be allowed a half, if he doesn't play in Cardiff?

Their backline is better than ours if very young, pack is harder to call but probably the edge to them with two massive lumps in the second row.
