I think the clue is in the name........... "Low emitting........"

A defrost from lighting would have have counted as a full blown miracle! Sainthoods and moving St Petrie statues all round!

But there you go

Anyone know who UR are insured with for match income cancellations? They are going to have A good laugh at this horlicks.
Erm, I think you might find it’s “light emitting diode”.
If they were low emitting they wouldn’t be much use.

Of course they are!! :duh:
And replying to myself
Not Heat emitting diodes after all ?

I have to say this is something that makes me a bit suspicious of Petrie. I get the strong impression that he quite likes the limelight, after a big win he's very quick to get out on twitter bathing in the reflected glory - and he's discovered that if he posts something terse and laconic after something bad happens, lots of simps on twitter start bigging him up for 'fronting up' etc etc

Did Mick Dawson even have a twitter account???

Dave wrote: Wed Dec 21, 2022 2:37 pm It's interesting because Petrie claimed that it was their preference to move it to Sunday. I wonder will the investigation reveal that a certain someone is another twister of the truth.
very interesting.. and also makes McFarland look a bit foolish, giving it loads in interviews aferwards (in fact I wouldn't be surprised if it was the big talk coming out of Ulster that made EPCR pull the trigger...)

That being said, this could also be Chinese whispers - I saw it being reported last week that French TV didn't want it on Sunday as it ran into their WC coverage, which I guess is plausible.. We shall see I guess

See Rory has now weighted in on the tweeting front and had a dig at Petrie.. even some of the Ulster are Brill (at everything) Brigade might start doubting Petrie if Rory is…

Petrie reminds me of a Dilbert book I bought ages ago called 'Thriving on vague objectives', how has he made a beneficial difference to Ulster?

We shall see what the outcome of the EPCR investigation is, but Petrie is a major step up from Mr World Domination (not hard I know).

Rory becoming more vocal as a pundit, made some interesting comments re the other Rory (Sutherland) joining Ulster.

Just hope he doesn't go full Ferris who uses Ulster as a bashing tool to keep himself relevant.

What he say about Sutherland? I'd have Sutherland over Kitshoff tbh. More dynamic. It's not as if he's blocking Reid, EOS or Warick

Ferris is looking for work on RTE and Off the ball, as well as premiersport(or whatever it’s called nowadays). Bashing Ulster is good for business.

Rory is well enough financially off that he doesn’t need to rely on punditry as a living and also on BBC Sport NI, which is very pro-ulster rugby.
