The weighting on the eurotables should ease that. Not like when a good season drops off the ERC rankings.

well, we got our decent win away from home at Rodney;

Clermont won 19-12 at home to Biarritz

I wonder is that enough for either or both of us to leapfrog Toulouse who drop a home defeat in ERC to Quins, and replace it with an away defeat (28-24) to Stade?

0.51 % separates the three teams, so not much in it.

Anyone do the hard sums?

Was wondering that myself Grumps, 0.04 behind Clermont, possible to go above them but BOPB will be higher placed than Dragons, then again margin of victory counts as well. Toulouse losing, no idea how they will be affected.

In short, nope haven't done the hard sums await Monday's email 4 til c. Funny as you get closer to the top you start to take it more seriously, last year I barely looked at the emails.

Do they actually tell you how to do the hard sums?

Think there is an explanation of how it works Merv but as a man with a degree in bone idleness I have always considered that the precise workings of the system are superfluous to my level of interest in the rankings. I am content to allow them to send me updated rankings at their leisure.

and you can even send them emails in return.

When it first appeared, they used to have an Irish Tricolour beside Ulster and at one stage, a N.I. fleg ...... but then I sent Peter a wee image of a nine-counties Ulster fleg that they now use instead - my claim to fame is that thanks to my email, we are UNIQUE on that website having a provincial fleg rather than a national one!!!!!!

Peter that runs the site (or one of them anyway) is actually an Ulster ex-pat.

I wonder can we get away with other mischievous fleg replacement here.

Does anyone have a fleg with a turnip on it we can send in?
