tom kite today but I have to say reading the comments on here you'd swear you were world class yourselves. Nothing won for all your talk and still a long season ahead.

Dreadful stuff today but fair play to Edinburgh as they took full advantage. Laidlaw was excellent today and really caused a lot of problems for Munster. Also Edinburgh did a very good job at lineout time. Outside of that Munster really caused themselves most of the rest of their problems. Too many players did not perform and collectively it was a bit of a disaster.
Just need to make bloody sure they do the business next weekend.

Think that sums up the game perfectly. Long way to go in this group and Edinburgh will be capable of beating Perpignan and Glaws at home. Still think Munster should win it as think they can get some 4 try BP's at home.

I'm sick brad pitt of Zebo. Sick at looking at the overhyped banker prancing around like a character out of GTA. If he's as good as he thinks he is then he should duck off the France and prove it. He won't be as mollycoddled over there.

Well he was certainly very poor today before his injury. To be fair to him he was performing last year as his try count shows but he seems to have developed a liking for trying to look stylish and swashbuckling while actually achieving √-1. Has he been reading his own press too much. I mean it is very unusual for a Cons man to start thinking he is all that so I am in shock.MACKTHEKNIFE wrote:I'm sick brad pitt of Zebo. Spot on. Zebo has become powerful flashy. You have to have a bit of a giggle over his sidestepping antics long before he gets close to sidestepping range. Then when he gets there, he never seems to step anyone. Does not look like an automatic choice for Ireland in present form.MACKTHEKNIFE wrote:I'm sick brad pitt of Zebo. I hate to intrude on what should be private grief, but for the usual Munster haters, but it simply has to be said & nobody has said it yet.
The total clowns who were shouting for ROG to be replaced last season by Keatley should shut their heinously stupid thrapples and never again utter another stupid word. If necessary get someone to sow your flapping lips closed you arseclowns.
I hate people without the tiny bit of wit they were born with, they offend me.
Keatley may have a certain degree of ability but feck me he couldn't manage an empty shopping basket. His little chip with a few minutes to go & the game all but won was outrageously stupid. I hope Paulie hit him a dig in the snotterbox when they got off the pitch.
Stupid, stupid, stupid, gave away an easy win.
Embra are an embarrassment to our league. Munster should have won that despite not being very good today.
I'm gutted for Munster.

Baggy. If you are talking about the chip that led to the Ed. try, that was Hanrahan, though I think the thick-as-champ commentating duo of Hastings/Sheahan mistakenly identified him as Keatley. Still - agree that Keatley had a poor day overall. Paddy still well ahead in the Sexton backup stakes, and poor old Madigan didn't even get his jock strap damp this weekend.BaggyTrousers wrote:I hate to intrude on what should be private grief, but for the usual Munster haters, but it simply has to be said & nobody has said it yet.

Re: Munster 2013- 2014
Not so sure. Munster really needed to win yesterday. Winning away at Glaws or Perpignon is gonna be a big ask on that performance. They should win their 3 homers, but to get a home quarter they'll need to win every game now on in. They'll do very well to get out of that group IMHO.LastKnightoftheproms wrote:I refer the honourable gentleman to the "steady boys" answers I've given earlier.MACKTHEKNIFE wrote:tom kite today but I have to say reading the comments on here you'd swear you were world class yourselves. I think Munster will top the group. It's like the Racing game last year. People will write the epitaphs and Munster will prove them wrong. Problem is it's probably an away QF.
Climb up onto the top of your house and start screaming: 'stand up for the Ulstermen, stand.......'
Re: Munster 2013- 2014
Keatley deserves more time before we say that he can't manage a game, let's remember early last season when he was obviously more well suited to the expansive game Munster were trying to play at the time. He had put a sight of pressure on us at Ravenhill only for ROG to fluff his lines when he came on late. Also I remember ROG being totally outplayed in the Leinster match at Lansdowne only for Keatley to come on and actually get his backline moving, albeit they still lost. I'm not giving out about ROG or saying he was crap last season, because his game did improve and he was the clear first choice by the end of the season, I just mean that the the season is long, Keatley is a young man and he could well surprise a few more people soon
There was never a guard nor a customs man, got his nose inside that transit van.

Re: Munster 2013- 2014
How right you are, having now lost my hangover I recognise that as the truth. That is as may be, but the fact remains Keatley cannot run a game and it's not as if he is in his early days as a player. He is the same age as Darren Cave, they played together on the nippers grand slam team. Nobody uses the nipper excuse about Darren & it's not appropriate about Keatley either.Spiffsson wrote:Baggy. Re: Munster 2013- 2014
Decent win for Munster against Gloucester. Huge difference this week was having POM back as he played a captain's role in a man of the match performance.
Overall the backrow was a different league to last week and that helped to ensure no slip ups this week. Backline looked a bit better with Earls, Murphy and LLL all looking lively and Downey pretty solid. Conor Murray was much better as well and closer to the type of performance he is capable of.
Anyway overall not perfect by any means but a step in the right direction. Hopefully they can continue in that regard as we go through the season.
