Ulster won 15 - 10. :fleg:

Good game. Ulsters scrum was very good. 2 tries for no 13 Sam Arnold, I think.
Their scrum half Charlie Rock is one to watch.
Good crowd too & yes, the bar was open :stout:

Lead 10 7 at the half. Another dropped ball in their 22 with a 2 on 1. Plus Sean goin for the world record of being charged down.
Aye, OHagan was ropey enough, his kicking was dodgy from tee & hand. Off at HT.

Decent result for the 20s. For the most part Leinster played all the Rugby, but Ulster took their tries well. O hagan made some great breaks with ball in hand, but was hit and miss with his kicking.

Ulster were physically a lot bigger than Leinster, particularly in the backs. Mckee and Arnold both made some good breaks, however Leinsters back tranferred the ball from wide to wide in a slick fashion and worked an offloading game well.

Liddell was a lot quieter than against connacht last week but Owens and Stockdale attacked and defended well and were unlucky not to get another score when the final pass went to ground.

Thought simpson was a workhorse in the pack and managed a number of turnovers, Dow carried a lot of ball and was steady at the base of the scrum.

As previously mentioned the Leinster scrum half (and captain) was a star turn and was at the heart of all they did well.

The 20s should go on to win next week and Cork, and complete a successful interpro campaign, which should lead to a good representation in the under 20 six nations and world cup.

Schools drew 17-17 with Leinster away, saw a poster on boards call it the best Ulster side he's seen in the last five years. U19s lost 13-40.

Went to watch the game and would say that there was not a lot between the teams in all honesty. The boys from Leinster kept the ball alive very well and were snappy in the backs and had quick ball from the breakdown, in the second half I thought that it was there for them. The wee scrum half was terrific, made some great breaks that they should have capitalised on. If they had not missed a few very kick able penalties they would have won.

We were bigger and stronger and the first try was really well worked from O'Hagan and McKee to put Arnold through. We looked great in patches, started really strong and should have put them out of sight. Second half we dug in and defended well. When it was level we showed great heart to get over the line and Arnold scored with a pick and go dive from the fringes of a ruck after good forward play.

Have to say on the O'Hagan comments that I thought he was terrific. He is a different type of player from what I have seen before. Thought that he was injured when he was taken off. He is a threat and some of his breaks were just fantastic, his kicking from hand was good a few grubbers were blocked in tight defensive lines, he got a great long range penalty, he defended well, don't get the negative comments at all. He is by no means the finished article but he has talent in abundance. The lad who came on in the second half Milligan, was ok but no where near the attacking threat of O'Hagan, kicking was no better. He is the type of player who would be worth the entry money.

If you are referring to my O'Hagan comments you should read them again.

Excellent. What's the inside story on Sean O'Hagan getting dropped from the squad; not even on the bench.
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

No injury, just dropped. From starting 10 to not in the squad at all. Harsh

I understand that it is precautionary because of injury and needed for some important Ravens games shortly.
