Loosehead holds on to top spot and loki took advantage of a poor showing by myself to clamber above me to third.

Ulster's away day to Galway turned into a trip to forget with an error strewn performance allowing a well-deserved Connacht win. Next up the minor challenge of an away trip to Leister in the RDS. Leinster will be hurting from the loss to Munster last weekend so don't expect too much good-will and new-year cheer.

Loosehead holds on to top spot and loki cemented his second place. Oldman climbs back into the top three.

Ulster's away day to the RDS proved to be just as painful as predicted - and it cost me a place in the top three. However at least Pauline and I had the integrity to stick by our team and predict an Ulster win against all the odds. The rest of you should hang your heads in shame.
We now turn our attention back to the Heineken Cup with Racing at home next weekend and then the away pool game at Leicester.

Another superb win at a packed and over-excited Ravenhill. The team may not have performed to the top of their ability with too many silly mistakes keeping the visitors in the game - but they put another team of French galacticos to the sword! What a day!
In the Predictions league there's only a small change in the top 3. Pauline drops to 2nd and I take over the lead with loosehead still in 3rd.

What a weekend. Ulster came from 13-0 down to beat the Tigers 13-14 and secure a quarter final for the first time since 2014. Just a pity it's against our old nemesis Leinster in Dublin! Still we've been underdogs in a quarter final before and come out on top.
In the Predictions league I performed disastrously to slip from first to third and Pauline and loosehead each climb a place as a result. there's only a small change in the top 3. Still I'll take it on the chin as it came with the Ulster win.
For once everyone playing predicted an Ulster win!

Not the most inspiring opening weekend from an Irish point of view. The one thing worse than losing your opening game of the competition - losing the first game of the competition at home to England. France vs. Wales was a real game of two halves too!
