What a terrible tackle on Baloucoune. Legs lifted up above the horizontal and down with force. Off injured now. This type of tackle should be a red card.

What was Barnes reason for mitigation?

I agree with the reason for your question. Can’t imagine we see him as the answer at 10 any longer.

Tmo felt that the influence of the second tackler was mitigation and no clear downward drive

Burns looks like a player low in confidence also. Too many poor performances.

Unfortunately Dan has put his aggs all in one basket at 10.
anyway that's a discussion fir post game.

A second Clermont player in the tackle. Ironically the player not doing the lifting saved it from being worse. Also he landed on his shoulder before his neck/head. Then off with what looks like a should injury. Yellow card only. They need to look at the laws if that's not a red.
