Drunken braying English buffoons. I've suggested to my outstanding German host Stephan that he erects a sign saying "No dogs no English no Spides". He was somewhat quizzical about WTF a Spide is, but downright enthusiastic about the first two. My type of German, runs an immaculate hotel and you learn to overlook his micromanagement fetish, excellent bloke.
My only complaint is that much as I'm as gay as the next man, I do wish he'd stop kissing me quite so ardently, I'm not used to their European ways. I have impressed upon Stephan my insistence on a no tongues rule.
When the early dining English twåts had finished up their food and swill and buggered off, the village square returned to polite chat and enjoyment of the fine fair. Peace returned to Busot.
Mind you there were four lovely Welsh girls spouting gibberish on in their singly songs native tongue - all four were "first language" Welsh speakers - but when there were just them and Mrs T and myself left in the square I discovered 2 were teachers, one a solicitor and the other a spy. Crackin'. The solicitor was a Blues fan and thrilled they have signed a Fat Nick. Crackin'
I suggested to Stephan this morning that he could add a "Lovely Girls" Festival to the range of joys he has brought to this village. Mrs T not overly enthusiastic I noted in my peripheral vision.![wink >EW](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Xàtiva is worth a visit if you're up that direction. Medieval walled town, home of the Borgias and a good castle. 2 castles in fact, a 2000 yo one were Hannibal stayed and a slightly younger one adjacent.

Cheers Merv. No, up in the hills above Alicante for two nights having dropped fellow travellers off to go home in Saturday. Just took a punt but marvellous boutique hotel and evening temperatures where you could sit out in the square to eat and round about 11 ponder if you might tolerate a sweatermervyn wrote:Xàtiva is worth a visit if you're up that direction. Aye they even have shortened that to IS as they don't want to offend them by calling them Daesh, calling them a State gives them a sort of credibility like they are an actual country and not just a bunch of extremist hoods.Russ wrote:So calledDave wrote:Isis
