Coming from the more respectable side of Shaws Bridge I dislike gloating from the 'master race' more than most, but an AIL thread seems like exactly the place how Inst are getting on should be discussed.

Watched a bit of the Armagh game on the bus back from Cavan and they looked very competitive against Cork Con. Good to have a couple of Ulster teams hopefully establishing themselves in 1A. Looks like there will be a few Ulster teams aiming for promotion down the leagues too, but both Omagh and Malone shipped a lot of points. Anyone have any insight into what's happening there?

For reasons unbeknownst to me, the bus driver didn't go through Armagh on Saturday. The game was also in Cork, so wouldn't have seen much. There was a free live stream of the match on YouTube. Link below for anyone interested.

Good wins for Hinch and Queens yesterday. Banbridge and Malone had bad losses away from home sadly. Anyone know how both Malone and Banbridge are coping after dropping down other than results?

Watched Instonians V Corinthians on Saturday very good game. (Instonians -3 Whittens) came back strongly in the second half to take the win. The remaining Whitten put in an excellent performance. Corinthians fully deserved their losing bonus point. This was a big step up in standard from 2C last year.
Was in England a few weeks before and took in a Nat 2 game Hornets V Cambourne, seemed to be about the same level as 2B, Josh Matavesi was playing for Cambourne biggest centre I've ever seen.

Currently in the AIL.
Clogher sit top of 2C 4 wins and 4 BP
Omagh mid table
Bangor bottom. No wins
Instonians top of 2B 4 wins 4 BP
Dungannon and Quins Mid table
Rainey one off the bottom no wins
2A Banbridge mid table Ballymena 8th
Malone bottom no wins
1B queens mid table
1A Armagh 4th Hinch 5th.

Watched instonians beat Sligo close at half time then instonians stepped up a gear and ran away with it 52-19.
Good to see 5 younger players who left RBAI over the last few years playing and not looking out of place.

Malone in big trouble i think,

2nd XV landed up to Ballymoney on Saturday for a Junior Cup game with only 10 players.

Well it didn’t do England any harm in the WC.

That's simply tragic, a club that must have put out 13 or 14 teams a generation ago.

Might watch a bit of Malone v Ballymena this afternoon before the Ulster game. Hopefully a tasty derby.
