I checked Ulster's Friday home game ko times for 06/07 - the season with Ulster's best attendances - and they were:
Fri 19:10 - 1 game (Dragons 9237)
Fri 19:30 - 5 games (Ospreys, Borders, Munster, Glasgow: average 9928)
Sat 17:30 - 1 game (Blues 9979)
Sat 19:30 - 2 games (Scarlets, Leinster: average 10532)
Tue 17:30 - 1 game (Boxing Day - Connacht 12143)

I know there are lots of factors, but does 25 mins really make a difference of 3,500 people less comparing a 19:30 ko in 06/07 to a 19:05 ko in 11/12? Or is it more to do with the games not being shown on live free-to-air TV in 06/07?

There are some within who think it is too early, and yes I have mentioned it.
