Is that an FA Cup replay?

Oh, sorry - I forgot that Pool had been knocked out of the cup by mighty Oldham

Football as they often say is a game of two halves and last nights certainly lived up to that.
2-2 final result and i very much enjoyed the bits of the first half that i saw shown at halftime
and the the first 15 minutes of the second half.
The Man U stars watching in the bar certainly seemed to enjoy the rest of the second half.

End of match report.

Can't see shitterpool getting a result tonight, out of europe then they can concentrate on the mid table scrap.

Well that "mid table scrap" is going well. Beating Spurs 3-2 brings us up to 6th which i'd say is fairly near the top of "mid-table".
Next four games are Southampton, Aston Villa, West Ham and Reading. Watch this space.

Of course the main aim of the English League system is to find out which team can score the most goals since Christmas, the rest is all academic.

Ok we've slipped to 7th but as I see it its all to play for as the next 5 games are all easily winable which = +15 points and i'd dare say a probable 4th table spot. It should start nicely with a home win v Chelsea next sunday then its (A)to Newcastle,(H) to Everton (could be a season decider that one) followed by (A) to Fulham finishing with an easy (H) win v QPR. Get out the champagne boys.

I'd love to see inside your head sometimes.

Looking at those 5 games I would say 2 points is OPTIMISTIC!

Norman Hunter was said to bite yer legs

Stud marks and all

While he apply the mouth to arm it appears there were no teeth marks

There are those who say Liverpool's attack is toothless

maybe he was trying to prove otherwise
Within this carapace of skepticism there lives an optimist

What a surprise, Liverpool FC are outraged that a guy who has bitten before as been done for racism between bites is punished to a reasonably & well warranted long ban.

Scousers, Eh???
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Outraged that biting (with no apparent lasting damage) is considered worse than John Terry's 'YOU BLACK ****' racism (4 matches) , worse than the Patrice Evra fairy tales about racism (8 matches), worse than Zinedine Zidane's world cup final headbutt (3 matches), and worse than every leg-breaking, career-ending tackle ever made in the EPL. I'd call 10 matches an overreaction alright.

Childish, yes, but not nearly as violent as you see in most matches in that league every week.

Takes a special kind of stars to bite somebody. A Hartley type. 10 games is to soft, he has history.
