Aye hope he does. Looks and sounds like a real bloke and his caddy looks like his da.

Heard m'dole's brother on TV the other night. Sounded like a big feckin culchie

Sky have had Golf tied up for years about the only game not tied 100% is the Ryder Cup.

Dawn to Dusk telly with Rolex as the main sponsor.

Would be nice to see another Irish/ European win the Open.

Rory has always had a touch of the Yips at Majors too keyed up -- which is sad. Started at his first Masters when he blew the last round.

Probably should be on the Player Spotting thread. Saw Rory Best at the Open and fair play to him posing with kids and grown ups for photos, with great patience. Great man!

Ah that was wonderful. Delighted for Shane Lowry.

Nice to see a game of golf played on a honest course -- good shots rewarded and anything wayward cost you .
Also good to see a game played in three dimensions -- player - course --and the elements -- too many are two dimensional -- soft courses with virtually no rough in windless conditions -- and the game becomes basically down to who reads his notes correctly to pick the correct club . 3 days where players could go better than par and one where you had to get it right every shot to make par.

Unfortunately the wind never really changed direction which makes Portrush such an interesting course the wind could have changed every day .

I see the Ryder Cup will be held in Adare Manor in 2026. Excellent stuff.

Wot bout Rambo DeShambles shaking up the establishment with his eccentricities.... fair play to him pushing boundaries & fresh look at it all . Rugby physique could be the new golf 😅
Maybe a career change reqd for half our Alster pack ... ride-her cup 🤔... maybe not after our jacko experience .
Heard Rambo who’s right handed signs his name left handed & in reverse...Sounds like he cud be useful in front row either side (used to going in reverse )
Anyways always good 2c different slant winning for a change .
Lessons 4 future ???

Will the PGA reassess Tiger's handicap?

McIlroy I think played 9 at school. Bulked up in later life. Ruined his short game. Copied someone's swing. He says he ruined his swing too. No monkey on his back though.
