(Honest) Predictions for the Big One
Okay, so honesty (and objectivity and realism) are optional for this, but what are people's predictions for Sunday's game? It's only Wednesday, we're just over halfway through the working week. For some, the busyness of catching transport, checking into accommodation and checking out the local will put the weekend preparations in just nicely. For the rest of us, we'll have to be content to count the hours down to Sunday 10/04/2011 14:00:00.
What do people think will happen? Be as specific or as vague as you please.
This is going to be a loooong week.

Re: (Honest) Predictions for the Big One
I remember standing on the terrace in the rain this year saying that there's a 9 out of 10 chance that Biarritz will beat Ulster by 15 - but there's a 1 out 10 chance we can sneak it. Have to say, I have the same feeling again for saturday - let's hope for the same result!

Re: (Honest) Predictions for the Big One
I predict Santa(s) will be in attendance. I was in Bath for the pre-Christmas cracker (see what I did?!), and there were several Santas to choose from - we'll take any gifts we can get to progress on Sunday.
I honestly, head-over-heart, predict the Saints to start quicker than us. I expect them to put a few points on the board, before our lads know what's happened, an early 10-point lead perhaps? How the match goes after that will all depend on how our boys respond, and on how Rory, Johann, Paddy et al rally the troops.

Head says............Northampton 25 - 12 Ulster
Re: (Honest) Predictions for the Big One
Northampton 17 Ulster 18
Outscored 3 tries to none (Ashton, Foden, Hartley, single Myler conversion), Humphries kicks 6 out of 6 penalties, all from outside the 22.
Cue apoplexy from English media

Please do not distrurb Mr Pienaar - he is operating in his bubble of calm
Re: (Honest) Predictions for the Big One
Lads, Myler isn't that bad a kicker
FFS, he'll probably be 100% on Sunday

You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

Would give my right nut for Ulster to win but can't see it happening TBH.
Re: (Honest) Predictions for the Big One
Ulster to win the penalty competition after 20 mins extra time.
Providing McL has Humphreys, Pienaar and Paddy/D'Arcy on the pitch at the whistle.

Head says Northampton.
In the last 5 years of the HEC there have been 20 QFs and only 4 away wins.
