Barry or Ian

For next season maybe Ulster should sign Barry Humpries to take the 10 shirt from Ian. What a shocker he had tonight my Granny could tackle better, lucky he has an older brother with connections

maybe you should go find your sheep.
Climb up onto the top of your house and start screaming: 'stand up for the Ulstermen, stand.......'

Just back, had a great day, Leinster fans were all really friendly...can't believe how bad Hump, Best and especially Darcy were..
Heard about O'Driscoll throwing a punch at Henry, anyone care to elaborate what happened exactly?
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

All the teams have known Ian is not the best at defense thats why everyone goes at him. If he maybe bulked up abit and trained alot with the tackle bags we would see a bigger improvement in his game.

Humps missed a couple of tackles early on but then did enough after that to at least slow the man down until the double hit was made. Hes no worse than many other out halfs, just gets it highlighted more than others. He's still one of the most creative 10's around and I would play him every week.

I know he didn't play every game this season but we won 20 out of 30 matches. Surely this shows that he at least helped us win more games than his tackloing cost us. Maybe too simple an argument but you know what I mean.

If you're going to talk about missed tackles last night have a look at Pienaar, P3, Cave and D'arcy. Then come back and criticise Humps if you dare. None of the tackles he missed cost us tries!!

About half way through the first half in the middle of the pitch there was a maul and the ball moved away. BOD threw a punch at CH and thats about the height of it.
LKOTP, that's the way it certainly used to be. Simple punch, no one complains. These days though things like that tend to be cited ( eg. POC flinging arm ). I don't want BOD to be banned for the final but is it simply being overlooked because he is B(G)OD, Leinster captain and the HEC final is next week? Hope that's not the case. Either incidents like that are cited or they are not, consistency is required.

Henry facepalmed BOD and his majesty took exception and threw a left hook which clipped henry on the chin. Nothing really.

Your always coming out with this drivel. Don't have the stats but how many man of the match awards has he had this season? At least a few, so you are saying that the best player out of the 30 on the pitch shouldn't be playing for us? Garbage

Och don't talk tripe. He's probably had more games than most of the 1st XV. He and Ruan have been the axis for the team nearly all season and let's not forget Humphs last minute and long range penalties. He has been the difference between winning and losing a fair few crucial matches. He has 2 defensively poor-ish games in a row and you're calling for him to be replaced and you don't expect people to wind yer neck in?

Barry Humphries is 77 and never played rugby--Ian didn't have his best game--fair enough. Your granny couldn't tackle better and I doubt that you could either. Your suggestion that he is only there because of his brother is offensive to his time at Leicester and his representative rugby throughout his career.

He's not perfect, but who in your expert opinion would you replace him with? Just look at the how muchy he creates to challenge opposition defences and how his place kicking has improved throughout the season.

Now please share some insight or get the flock out of here.

Okay we will see next season just how great he is and those who try and be critical of him next season will be reminded of just how great a player he is.
