Manu tuilangi punch

While i do not condone violence.

What a right hook by Manu on Ashton. Couldn't happen to a nicer fella.

Red card definitely.

Very harsh on Ashton tbh, realy dislike the guy, however there is no place in rugby for the guy tht threw the punches, Ashton didn't do anything wrong, leicster player definitely will get cited.
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

and yet it seems you do, a disgusting act that has no place in society let alone a rugby pitch, hope they throw the book at Tuilangi, as for the original poster :duh:

Definitely deserves the book thrown at him prob an 8-10match ban.

Ashton though in fairness must have a solid head.

Just watched it. Manu threw more punches there than Audely Harrison has thrown his whole life!

Must be 6 month ban at least due to the follow ups and the lack of retaliation/provocation. He is in deep doo doo :oops:

Can anything be done about it? I thought because the ref took action at the time that was it done and dusted. If you were Ashton would you not be a little disapppointed that your team-mates were nowhere to be seen????

Just saw it on rugbydump. That last punch was one hell of a shot. I'm no fan of Ashton but no need for what Tuilagi did

:shock: be lucky if he is playing before Christmas next season, the slow motion one looks like something from a heavyweight boxing match, perhaps Ashton should take up boxing if he can take a dig like that and remain concious :shock:

Twas some hit for sure. Total respect for Ashton though for;

1- Taking the hits (esp the last one) and staying conscious/alive
2-Accepting the Yellow graciously (even though it wasn't deserved)
3-shaking hands with Manu after the match (or so I hear).

I wouldn't like to see Tuilagi banned for TOO long, he does deserve a citing but he is still just a young guy who needs to learn. Defiantly not on though.
