Dont forgot Rudolf Benade, Michael Lagan and Conor McKee are only 5th years so have plenty of time to improve and get bigger, Benade needing the fill out the most. McKee looked a very good player for a 12 at his age.

I liked the look of Benade, great feet. Gilroy mk 2 potentially.

Re: 2012 schools Cup.
He was never capped but he was captain of the Emerging Springboks side that beat the Lions in 1997. He won the game with a late drop goal.

Not too sure but Winters is leaving, as is Gribben (I think). Micky Lagan (the loosehead), Conor Mckee (12) and Benade all 5th years.

Great win yesterday for MCB's young 2nd 15 side against Campbell College 22 v 3....great performance...bodes well for next season

Re: 2012 schools Cup.
Not a single Methody boy in the U18 squad! Things are falling apart.
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

Re: 2012 schools Cup.
That's one for the selectors
....my greatest satisfaction is seeing last years Medallion side all involved in the first and second 1V cup wins this year in their first year of senior rugby and topping it all off is this year's Medallion side lifting the Shield. Some school's sides are very quick to label themselves as ' legendary' whilst other school sides like last years MCB Medallion side knuckled down and put the graft in to make up for last years showing by making the 1st and 2nd 15 squad at Methody and lifting the silverware

Re: 2012 schools Cup.
i think youve forgotten the retrieval efforts of the 4th XV who won the 3rd XV plate in Morris Cinnamonds last year in charge
. May not be the cup but certainly worth mentioning after going out in contraversial circumstances to CCB 3s early on
