If that is a slow loading when a page is requested which might come up or may result in a "Cannot display webpage." message then I have seen similar over the last 15 minutes.

In my experience however it is a problem which has came and went for some weeks now.

Nope site not on BT but your connection is going through BT to get to it run a test on an outside one and you get different result
http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/visual-tracert/

I am on BT fiber and I'm not having any trouble with site here but I am having trouble with a site on a BT server in Belfast

Virgin fell over completely for a couple of hours last night, including the telly so it could well have been a transitory issue my end.

Hi All, there seems to be a few connection problems ongoing with this server. The host server doesn't like opening new connections when it gets over a certain number, and it's telling us that some connections are not being closed correctly. I am investigating it, but the last time we did, the host said it wasn't their fault (it was) as they limit the number of connections with PHP inside a 15 minute period, on their shared server... They won't increase this. (Although they did once in the past)
