Hope England win then Ireland will be de facto World champions under the 1967 Scotland 3 England 2 precedent.

That'll be world champions in rugby AND cricket

This says that the IPL is now the second most valuable media contract in the world. As it was written in June, IPL could even be the most expensive by now!

Interesting new role for the Humph by the looks of it. Would be following the likes of Rob Andrew and Pat Howard as former international rugby players getting into cricket administration.

Jimmy Anderson tops the world test bowling rankings at the age of 40 years and 207 days.

Quite remarkable

He’s amazing.

Not far behind Warney now.

Was debating which games he’ll play in the summer on another forum.

Think I’d play him against Ireland and give him a break for the middle game in the Ashes in Leeds (where Leach got ten last year).

On their hand, he’s never done much at the Oval and the series could be over by then.

If he can pick up another couple, he'll be the oldest pace bowler to take a fivefer in the history of test cricket.

Stayed up to the wee hours following that.

Really thought Jimmy was going to score the winning runs.

You can't say Stokes doesn't provide entertainment.
