Semi final attendance

Post by Cracker »

Did a quick troll around the ticketmaster web site at 6.00 today and my calculations show the number of unsold tickets as follows:-
Bottom section including small area at rear of posts - tickets unsold 99
Middle section - tickets unsold 2595.
Top section - tickets unsold 6636
This makes a total of unsold tickets as 9330.
There may of course still be returns from Edinburgh but if the figures are correct it promises to be a bumper crowd.
By the way I purchased my tickets as a season ticket holder last Monday at 12.30 and despite promises from the Ulster Branch that they would be sent out at once from they are still not here.
I would be interested to know if anyone has received their actual tickets as yet or if many have heard nothing as yet.

Its a disgrace the way the seats were allocated with Season Ticket holders (priority customers) basically offered the corner seats.
A few have pointed out the strategy, nevertheless its still a disgrace... I see the final tickets have been distributed in the same way with better seats available now than last week

Think you've maybe miscounted there Cracker. Ticketskelper are showing about 4000 unsold in the top tier - under 7,000 in total.

Dogsd139, I cannot understand how you have formed this view.

I was on the ball when the ST priority opened online and there were many many seats available along the 2 long sides of the pitch and in the 'middle' sections. I purchased 8 of what I judge to be prime seats in Block 103 at 50 euro.

havent received my tickets either lads. alls i heard was that more tickets were released at twickers for the final, and that they were good seats. if same has happened at aviva i'd be annoyed, cos its just another example of the loyal fan getting abused.

We haven't received our tickets yet either.

Don't know who's more nervous about the mail this week; Mr WW for the tickets or me for word on Wee Girly's primary school place :banghead:

Hurry up ffs!

Thanks for the response so far to all of you and I accept fully that my calculations may be well out and I certainly hope so. It would be great to have a full house with 90% supporting Ulster. Has anyone out there got tickets through the post so far?
