I am highly unlikely to be the man to help you directly at least.
I feel that for others to help you would have to provide more information.

Are you on dial-up or broadband?

broadband i'd ask the customer service guy's but they must be over in India, nothing wrong with that but they cant understand me nor me them,so something simple can end up taking bloody age's :x ,thats why i dont bother.
soon as someone answer's my phone the line drop's and after constant press the mouse it connect's,only just had this prob, been alright for the last yr or so. :?

I am far from being an expert... very far as it happens but I was thinking it might be something to do with the wee filters on you phone socket. You know the line that goes from your socket and then to the filter to be split to either the phone or your modem/pc. It could be that they have just packed in.

If you just plug your phone it the wall socket without going via the filter and it works ok and if you just plug your modem/pc into the socket without using the filters and it works. That will give you an indication of where the problem is.

Hope I have not confused you too much.

Please pardon me if you have already done that.

Keep us informed, we may not be able to help but sure it's good to talk.

Intermittent Dropping Internet connection,

Fuzzy or bad telephone connection when the modem is plugged in,

I have more than two phone sockets in use around your house you will require more Broadband filters, which can be purchased here. perhaps i havent enough filters(only have 2)i'm sure they gave me more, would i need more???but thanks for the help......

Looks like the filters are the problem.
When I signed up for my broadband I'd to buy an extra couple of filters to ensure I had one on each phone socket in the house. I've had no problems like you describe.

You could try reinstalling your broadband.
