Any good tv that doesn't involve people killing each other? I'm enjoying BV's suggestion of Bosch but need a bit of relief from the intensity!
Tempted to watch some house hunting/ building/ redecorating, but resisting manfully. The Antiques Roadshow is also looking perilously attractive.

Before We Die on All 4 is tremendous.
Swedish cop show about infiltrating gangs. Not an easy watch in the sense that so much is crammed into each of the 18 episodes (over two seasons).
It’s got more than its fair share of killing though.

I have a Swedish friend and his favourite TV show is Midsomer Murders.
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Twin is excellent and keeping us in thrall in these horrible times.
Never did I think that remote life in a freezing Norwegian fjord could be so watchable! It has to end badly.
Jackie, try Safe on Netflix. Also, the Nest on BBC is absolutely superb.

Thoroughly recommend this factually based film which, at times, will make you laugh and cry, but overall will inspire. It's based on the life of a man, Neill Baldwin, from 'the Potteries area' who has a learning disability ...enjoy

I think A Deadly Union is better.
Must be a shortage of actors in France cos the same bloke plays the copper.
However, Code 37:Sex Crimes is much more entertaining than both. Set in Ghent. Stand alone episodes although there is a storyline which runs throughout the three series.
