Neil Delamere was pretty good at the SSE on Friday night.

Miles funnier than some of the alleged comedians the BBC wheel out for their panel shows over the water.

And yes I mean you Nish Kumar, you arsehole.

All panel shows are dung. All scripted within an inch of their lives.

Shooting Stars was the exception where the guests hadn't a clue what was coming next.

Can’t beat the classics Tiger.

I’ve got them on DVD - might see if the DVD player still works!

My pleasure. It’s an absolute gem.

That’s three of us who watch it now, including Neill M!

Watched Sequia (The Drought) at the weekend - murder mystery set on the Spanish / Portuguese border, their take on the Bridge. It was decent, available on Channel 4 Streaming Site.

Watched an unusual film called El Conde on Netflix at the weekend. The premise is that Augusto Pinochet was actually a 250 year old vampire, Maggie Thatcher narrates! :lolL

Just started watching the 2nd series of Kin on BBC player. It's really good, full of menace and you get to see the inside of those nice house's beside the Aviva. Great acting and a top notch drama that has built on the excellence of 1st series.

I am very disappointed not to have seen a Bourne movie on the telly since about last September. If anyone spots any of them on telly in the TV schedules, preferably terrestrial, please post details here.

Went to see The Mousetrap (finally) at the GOH tonight.

Tucker Jenkins and Cassandra from OFAH in the cast.

It was OK but I suspect there are better plays that have failed to run for 70 days, never mind 70 years!

Have I previously expressed my weakness for Hope Street?

Down to the last episode on season 3 and it keeps improving.

Some decent actors like the fella from Shameless, Ser Meryn Trant from GoT and (of course) Kerri Quinn.

Nice setting too.

Booked us in half board at ‘The Commodore’ in April for the wife’s Christmas present.

Frank Skinner at the Ulster Hall.

Funny, as always.
