Early Season Squad

Post by Scranner »

Has anyone got any ideas as to who will be missing from the friendlies and the first few Rabo games? Presumably Best and Trimble won't be there. What about PW and Chris Henry?

I'm not sure if Paul Emerick is available either.

beagle and Paddy are getting rebuilt, Roger has a hammy problem, Fat nick got his fingers broken by JD for eating too many burgers, Caves coffee machine has broken down and he refuses to play till he gets a new one, various others are still lost on foreign beaches so t will be a matter of seeing who turns up with their boots for first few matches

At the season ticket holder meeting Shane Logan said that the Irish International players wouldn't be back until the Rabo match 3, although he didn't say which players

that could mean a lot of players out, even Marshall could be absent, Mark Anscombe may have a real rough start

Th exact return is now normally done on a case-by-case basis. It wouldn't make sense to rest Paddy Wallace for the same duration as Rory Best, for example (assuming the full fitness of both).

9 = blood McIlroy
10 = Paddy Jackson, our best out-half? :?
12 = Spence, or blood Luke Marshall
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.
