How To Honour Nevin
name one of the new stands after him, or can think of another fitting tribute?

Honestly, and I will prob catch a lot of stick for this .... but .... no, I think thats a bit overboard.
For me personally, there are so many other greats of the game we could name a stand after. Not a young up and coming player purely because of the tragedy thats happened.

Think it's way too soon to be discussing something like that tbh.

Agree with Fuzzy. Although it is a very tragic incident, it's a bit too much.

You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

+1 Fuzzy. Would like to see "Nevin Spence" just below players number on back of all tops for rest of season. Something like that would be nice. But it's too soon to really talk about this.

in hinsight maybe it is a bit OTT, we should honour him in someway though

The thought came from a good place eoinsy96eoinsy96 wrote:in hinsight maybe it is a bit OTT, we should honour him in someway though
I'm sure the players and the club will pay their respects to Nevin in their way and it will meet with universal approval.

I presume there will be a minute's silence before the Zebre game. Might the game even be postponed?

Re: How To Honour Nevin
I don't see how we can't play and I don't think Nevin or any other professional would want it any other way.
Re: How To Honour Nevin
Ill be surprised if we are in italy on friday. Mebe had it been scotland/wales/ireland but not italy. Considering the travelling and when the funeral will be held.
Re: How To Honour Nevin
several reasons, for a start, i'd expect them to have monday and tuesday off, funeral on wednesday, we'd need to travel on thursday having not trained all week. its not gonna happen, nevin was a popular guy, wouldn't be right to ask them to play so soon after
