Keep this little man in your thoughts and prayers
at this particular time. Things not going well at
the present time. I wasn't going to hide this on a back page as so many
at UR have been heavily involved in his cause.

URs side by Nevin and remains so by Chris678. After the
devastating news for the Knox family that his treatment
would not be possible due to an undetected heart problem
things then spiralled out of control on the immediate
health side. The wee lad was critical for most of this past
weekend but showed slight improvements as of Monday
with both his collapsed lung and heart showing some
positive response to treatment. The aim of the family
now is to hopefully get him stabilised and then hopefully
well enough to allow him undertake the arduous journey
home.
I'm not going to bore people here with updates every day,
though some have asked for news. I will however drop a
note every so often out of respect for Nevin whose cause
this is.

Oscar Knox home in Belfast after treatment setback
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-i ... um=twitterOscar Knox, the four-year-old Belfast child who has a rare form of cancer, has arrived home in Northern Ireland after a failed attempt at specialist treatment.
Oscar, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, was unable to undergo a six-month treatment in Philadephia after a problem was discovered with his heart.
His situation deteriorated, but he has recovered enough to make the journey home.
Posting on Twitter, his family said he had arrived back on Saturday night by air ambulance.
"Flight was good and all is well," the family wrote on the social networking site.
They added that while they did not "get what we went out for" they were pleased to be home.

Wee Oscar back home in Belfast
http://www.u.tv/News/Wee-Oscar-back-hom ... 4fa60fa04eOscar Knox, the four-year-old who has been battling a rare form of cancer has arrived home in Belfast after recovering in an American hospital.
Little Oscar travelled on Saturday by air ambulance stopping via Canada and Iceland.
"Flight was good and all is well," the family wrote on Twitter.
Oscar's mum Leona thanked all the ground staff and ambulance crew who greeted them at Belfast International airport.
The family said the trip to America had not gone the way they had wanted, but that they were "pleased to be home safe and well".
Oscar had travelled to Philadelphia for a potentially life-saving treatment for his neuroblastoma, but that was ruled out after an issue was discovered with his heart.
His condition worsened when he suffered another setback in the form of a collapsed lung and he was moved to intensive care.
The Knox family had revealed that doctors had told them to "prepare for the worst", and had said their private goodbyes to their brave little boy.

http://www.u.tv/News/Wee-Oscar-hoping-f ... um=twitterThere was good news for brave Belfast four-year-old Oscar Knox this week, when his family received the results of a CT scan they had been worried about.
Wee Oscar, who's battling a rare form of cancer and other complications, has had an even tougher time than usual in recent weeks.
He'd made the exhausting trip to Philadelphia for potentially life-saving treatment to counter his neuroblastoma, only for a heart and lung condition to rule it out.
And since the little boy's return to Northern Ireland, he's been suffering from abdominal pains.
But on Wednesday, his family told Oscar's legion of Twitter followers they'd had brilliant news.
The CT scan had shown nothing new, meaning there had been no further complications and no change since the last scan Oscar had in June - a "big relief" for his anxious parents.
But poorly Oscar is still in hospital and on oxygen for his heart and lung condition and his mum and dad admitted they'd love him to be able to come home soon.
